    New Endeavor

I seek God's guidance as I begin anew.

Before I embark on a new endeavor in life, I take a few moments to engage in a visioning prayer. This type of prayer is an excellent tool for guiding me forward. I enter into a time of communion with God as I pray:

Dear God, I thank You for the opportunity to participate in this sacred enterprise. I feel the divine calling within me to step forward and take on new responsibilities. I ask specifically, What is my role? What is mine to do?

With these words resonating within me, I pause in quiet reflection. I allow images to dance across my mind and ideas to leap from my heart about the innovation, expertise or support I can bring to this new endeavor. My mission and goals come into sharp focus. With God's guidance, I begin.

The Lord will guide you continually.--Isaiah 58:11

    Grace

I am one with God's love, now and forever.

Taking time apart from outer activities, I consider the love of God within that never fades and never fails. It is my comfort, regardless of my past and despite any challenges today or tomorrow.

In the serenity of meditation and prayer, I contemplate the depth and breadth of the endless love which abides in the deepest part of me. The love of God sustains and nourishes me, heals and prospers me, inspires and calms me, no matter what.

The love of God is a constant support and resource within me and also within the people I care about. I give thanks for God's love that enables us all to respond to life in mindful and meaningful ways.

Neither death, nor life ... nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God.--Romans 8:38, 39

"Every time you are tempted to react in the same old way, ask if you want to be a prisoner of the past or a pioneer of the future."

    Today's Affirmation

I choose the way of Love.

    Today's Meditation

    Dear God,

This has been a sweetly quiet morning for which I am so very grateful.

May each person who reads this prayer know how much You love them.

Help each one to realize that it is not my words, but the power of our joining that makes this prayer time powerful.

May we all catch a glimpse of how much You care for us.

I know that I am a pioneer of the future.

My heart is glad and my mind is at peace.

    Thank You God.

    Amen

    Dear Vee,

Thank you for responding. I left a note in reply, but realized that you might not see it, and so I came over to your site.

There are 40 days of this dialogue from "A Course of Love," channeled by Mari Perron. She comments most days, and I normally copy her response (with permission) onto the Miracle Cafe.

I love your writing. It is beautiful, and I am greatly inspired by your daily meditations as well.

    Most cordially,

    Celia

Hello Vee! I am so glad to meet you!!! My you not only look happy, you also look full of energy and expectation!

I so much appreciate your affirmative support! I know that God Loves me and is always with me. The challenge I chose to place myself in was for the good of some physically challenged young people who were unable, for various reasons, unable to stand up to someone they considered a "Goliath." I have no regrets, things are getting better for them, I am at the place where I stand firm for them. I know that God loves them also. They are an inspiration to me.

Thank you, Vee for your affirmative prayers of support.
